Davis Polk partner John Banes will be among the speakers at PLI’s Fifteenth Annual Institute on Securities Regulation in Europe: Practical Implications of US Law on EU Practice. Banes will moderate “Regulatory Developments Affecting the Capital Markets in Europe,” which will provide an update on the EU Capital Markets Union; MiFID II and MiFIR; bank structural reform and Basel III; and reforms to financial infrastructure, benchmarks and the regulation of ratings agencies. The program will be held January 21-22, 2016, in London.
