Sarah Beshar to Speak at PLI’s “Securities Offerings 2015” Program

Davis Polk partner Sarah Beshar will be among the speakers at PLI’s “Securities Offerings 2015: A Public Offering: How it is Done,” Beshar will speak on the “Ethics, Due Diligence and the Offering Process” panel, which will discuss liability provisions and remedies under the Securities Act; the importance of ethics in due diligence in the offering process, including comfort letters, 10b-5 statements and in-house counsel considerations; the role of participants in the offering process, including avoiding ethical pitfalls; and ethical issues in the underwriting process.
