Davis Polk counsel Susan Ervin will be among the speakers at the 2015 Asset Management Derivatives Forum hosted by FIA and SIFMA. Ervin will Chair the “Cross-Border Recognition” panel, which will discuss the new derivatives rules and how they apply in the global marketplace, particularly for clearing, trade execution, reporting and margin requirements. The session will focus on the extraterritorial application of U.S. and EU rules, the process of recognition of foreign jurisdictions, and key issues that have arisen from the cross-border policies various regulators have adopted.
