Davis Polk partners George Bason and Arthur Golden spoke at the 2015 Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade, an annual event that addresses commercial and trade issues between the United States and China.
The roundtable discussion included participation by senior U.S. and Chinese government officials and focused on corporate governance and business/government interactions, including the role of boards of directors, fiduciary duties, conflicts of interest, minority shareholders, and transparency, licensing approvals, and administrative proceedings.
