Davis Polk partner Oliver Smith will be among the speakers at PLI’s “Securities Filings 2014: Practical Guidance in a Changing Environment.” Smith will speak on the panel, “Securities Filings in M&A Transactions,” which will discuss ’33 Act issues, tender offers, “going private” transactions and the disclosure of merger negotiations. The program will be held on September 4-5, 2014, in New York.
