Davis Polk partner Rachel Kleinberg will be among the speakers at PLI’s “Tax Strategies for Corporate Acquisitions, Dispositions, Spin-Offs, Joint Ventures, Financings, Reorganizations & Restructurings 2014,” which will be held December 3-5, 2014, in Los Angeles. Kleinberg will speak on the panel, “Current Issues in M&A,” which will address taxable and tax-free transactions, multi-step reorganizations, proposed regulations regarding basis recovery and basis determination, and the IRS no-rule policy, among other topics.
